not blogging the other day was a mistake ba, i seriously dun feel like typing something really long here. just to add something here before i get too seh-ed from drinking too much bourbon sprite and beer..

the IT fair is finally over. the aftermath: sore legs, sore throat and valuable experience.

i shall be direct. customers who are old men or indian men DO NOT buy EeePCs. Aunties and couples generally have a higher tendency to get it. met many, many people. ppl who return to you and insist on you serving them, people who boast about their knowledge, people who ask questions that even timothy cant compete against and generally nice people.

at one point of time it got so unbearable i was insulting people in my mind while serving them. it goes something like this:

outloud: this is the 4GB version, 512 ram, running on linux. very affordable price.
mymind: oh god your face is ugly and i doubt u have enough money for lunch. buzz off.

mymind: here comes a stupid b1tch, she'll prolly ask a dumb question and leave.
*lady approaches*
lady: is this laptop?
me: yes
*lady leaves*

i swear if i could throw thunderbolts you would have a pile similar to that of 300 right infront of my booth. not to mention ppl who look like they're guaranteed to buy saying they 'take a look around' and nv seem to come back. ever.

the most frequent question ever: whats the difference between this one and this one? *points at 2 of the laptops*

my answer: diff internal SSD memory, ram, screen size, OS, mic, webcam
preferred answer: this one better lo *points at the more expensive one*

my final score: 1st:8 2nd:forgot. 3rd:7 4th:10. i guess im the stop scorer ba. just too good?

oh ya, our boss, vincent, is a really really nice guy even though he uses a diff way of showing affection.

me: kaopei lar.
vincent: kai1 wan2 xiao4 laa *taps my shoulder*
me: zhi1 dao4 zhi1 dao4!

anyway my overall experience was quite a good one, made some new friends(nic, jr), met some old ones. WE SAW CHEW XIN YI!!! LOL MAN, gave her inside advice ba. THANK ME MAN. and weiyu and his newest friend dick love laughing at my IMBA-NESS when i bored. and i cannot believe it, the only friend who bothered visiting me at the fair was christine! wheres the rest? even my family also nv come T.T (excuse: we too busy and its too packed)

ytd night, harn and aries came to fetch me and we went to cathay to catch THE HULK. (after i left work luh) u gotta love it when the green machine says HULK SMASH. LOL. tarpao-ed supper at the wetmarket before staying over at their hse. slept at 4plus and woke at 1plus. lunch at the market with harn.. evening went to jog with aries and tarpao-ed western food dinner. dad came and fetched me home. yay!

my fathers day celebration: drink beer together.
