okay, i've finally found the time to blog.

just came back from the 'fire drill' at ocbc with kevin. kevin is cool. he got the rank 'fire marshall' from the oir department. being the hardworking people that they are, the entire OIR department continued their work while kevin was assigned to go mark attendance. i accompanied. walked all the way to honglim park and kevin wrote down every single OIR worker and ticked their attendance for them. then there was this director walking alongside but i didnt know who he was, kevin said hi. i said: "whos that bald guy".

im smart.

anyway at the evacuation spot i saw this rui en lookalike.. but sadly she was the only decent looking one in the ENTIRE OCBC south building. and kevin said rui en looks better anyway.

okay anyway the whole point of this post is not about my office stuff.. its actually about ANTENNA

i decided a better source was needed to solve the mystery. i approached sandy and BOY HAS SHE RESOURCES.

there are 2 possible candidates and armed only with their names i searched my most valuable resource, Friendster.

now, many people may think friendster is dumb.. but guess what. friendster rocks in helping you find profiles of people and practically everything about them. i found ALOT of ppl through friendster. seriously the information ppl provide on friendster.. marvellous.

the first candidate was called chelmin. with a quick search. tadah. her name was the only one on the list. not good to have a unique name huh. i checked out her profile.. nothing much, just pictures.. no blog. guess no harm in providing a link right.

being the genius i am, i searched for the 2nd name in chelmin's friends. (since ant's friendster is practically obsolete) and i found mary. mary is a private profiler. but rome doesnt hold qualms about adding unknown ppl to view their profile if it meant being able to solve the mystery. so i added and im still waiting. meanwhile, i managed to get a hold of her blog. checked it out.. no pictures.. but a post about honglin getting a "2 dolphin and a heart" tattoo. wow damn is antenna gay.

weekend was preety sporty with soccer and bball, also tried the HK cafe with the dudes and celebrated grandpa's 90th birthday.. my nose skin is dying and peeling off.. rawr. and oh ya, watched the disappointing draw with chelshit.. anyway my current fav player has to be evans. young and talented. and my most disliked player (in the team) has to be... ronaldo.. so cocky.. and plus diving is never good for health. (unless in a swimming pool)

well im in office now and as usual have nothing to do.

im pretty disappointed today, due to my shitty results.. GPA 2.944.. my wishlist to main 3.5 must be un-striked off.. haiz.. now cumulative only at 3.35.. )): on the other hand i got my first AD for gems though and i managed to solve the damn 4x4 rubiks cube today.

met cindy for lunch today at curry-san.. okayokay nias. walked the china square area in search of the next eating location.. den when we were walking saw this jap restaurant that doesnt look bad (WHAT IS WITH JAP FOOD?) den we go see the menu though we alr ate le.. den the waitress approaching us.. stupidly i gave her the "just looking" sign by pointing 2 fingers at my eyes.. and she assumed its table for 2.. LOL.. ran off when she turned her back to get the menus.. LOLLLLL me and my awesome-ness

ytd went for my first ever seminar and it was in sort of like a board room (the kind where u see all the directors go) the speaker was the CEO of DMX.. since we got there early, we got to shake hands with the CEO and the operations manager.. whoots first time shake hand with a CEO of a listed company.. the whole room inside only about 15 ppl.. really quite cool.. FREE LUNCH too.. some jap teriyakichicken bento..

mon, met bae and his fren for lunch and as usual went to OCBCRC(Recreation Centre) to slack.. and yes the RC has a pool, 2 table tennis and a billiard table with WII, 2 KTVs (with UPDATED songs) and 4 massage chairs.. everything's free cept for the KTV (10bux for 3 hours.. the room is HUGE) wrote my name on the pool challengers list and got owned by the guy dominating the table. T.T

weekend was spent going to grandma's hse, cycling at pasir ris (but din emo coz bro rode with me), watching all the new seasons of Pbreak, dexter, anime, playing the new PSP games i dl-ed and finally having great home cooked food from ma.. awesome. spent alot of time at home but WHO CARES? as long as i am happy.. lol.

i cant remember last week, only that one day i had lunch with 2 of my colleagues and i realise office gossip is just as interesting as normal gossip.. HAW HAW. some SECRETX that cannot be said.

anw, why i so free? coz sze ming took 3 days leave. and no one else needs any help so im just pretty much rotting away, pestering ppl on MSN to talk to me while playing the rubiks cube and listening to music.. this is now defined to be as WORKING. LAWL.

dinner alone tonight, everyone else is busy.. im so lonely, im mr lonely, i have nobody to call my own and HAIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... prolly go register for my driving..

anyways, my weekend taught me one valuable lesson. maybe not taught, it kinda reminded me.

happiness is self perception.

if a man enjoys cleaning toilets as a job, even if he has a better job offer and a better pay, he will still remain cleaning toilets. even if everyone else looks down on him, he will still remain cleaning toilets. and if he is happy, i figure out, u should be happy for him too.

an email i recently read said that a person's day is only affected by his/her own actions which will bear different consequences depending on it. heres an example.

letsay, u wake up late because you slept too late last night. u rush everything and as a result everyone who comes in your way irritates you, you scold your younger brother for leaving his books on the floor, you tell your mom she should have woken you up.. your younger brother gets pissed and cannot concentrate on his exam, he fails and comes home miserable. your mom tells you to have some manners and you refuse to acknowledge her presence which results in a big argument.

okay. there are 2 things u can change.

1) you could have slept earlier last night.
2) you could have just go in late for work and accept the consequence, you were going to be late anyway.

and in this 2 scenarios, everything would change. and that leaves a 'what if'. and if people think about the 'what if's too much, they'd live an unhappy life. so to me, do not think 'what if', think 'if not', always look for a positive side.

OCBC bank boy.

okay since lunch hour just over, left only 2 other colleagues in office now, i guess i'll use this time to jiak zhua abit.. and to tell you how my working life is like right now.

im currently an intern at OCBC investments somewhere in raffles..

omg, they're starting to come back.. and my work desk screen faces the main door.. have to keep alt tabbing. nvm, i shall persevere and finish this post by 6 today. (knock-off time)

so my fellow colleagues are all pretty nice people. pretty smart too. the table beside mine belongs to a 23yr old called pei han. well, she told me she just finished her studies in the states.. so i was bored enough to go friendster and try to dig.. guess wad, 2nd result from friendster is hers alr.. lol and den i saw.. hmm.. Master Degree in Finance Economics from.. OXFORD. wtf? the only other thing close to me from there is probably my dictionary.. super imba smart.. and there are like only 10 people in my office, boss not in.. the rest.. i guess they are all also damn smart people ba.. im probably the lowest ed there.. haiz.. u can tell from their perfect english and stuff..

my jobscope is probably just looking at figures and typing.. this figures go up to billions.. like WOW. and.. yeap thats pretty much it.. nothing related to my future though..

first day of lunch went with her and carey. and guess wad, i didnt know carey was the manager.. LOL. by the way, carey is a GUY. i only got to know that late yesterday.. and he bought donuts back for us.. gr8 man!! hopefully he gives me my 'A'.

also, i gotta wear pants, belt, leather shoes and long sleeve.. for SIX WEEKS. omg so uncomfortable thank god im not in business..

was ultra tired by the time i got home, instant sleep. waking up at 630 is no joke. i havent woke up at 630 since sec sch.. wth man. your bed never looks so good before.. esp when i only sleep like 6-7 hours when i usually do 10-12.. feeling is super super shagged maan.. the train is also damn super packed, damn bloody sian.. sometimes got pretty office ladies though.. those that zambak like one.. LOL.
