accomodations booked. rail tickets bought. luggage still not packed though.

heart and mind, still not fully ready too. half a year away from home would be the new record.

i stray from familiarity into unknown territory in the hope of finding solace in another part of the world, a place where no one knows my name. i am not even sure i need this escape, and maybe this is just the cold feet talking.

it's all part of growing up, we leave things behinds. things and people. and though they matter much more than they know, we know that their chapter in our story has ended.

i am not religious but i pray you'll find yourself back into my story. even if the path is dimly lit, these lights will guide you home. and you can try.
