DOFFFFIIIN

So yesterday, I finally cancelled something off my bucket list.

Visit the pink dolphins of Sentosa

The day started with me jolting up at 7am believing I was 3 hours late to meet yun. Turns out, my dreams aren't at all prophetic and I ended up waiting for her again. (HAHA #guilttripyou)

So we had a rather appetite-less lunch at Vivo before heading over to Sentosa. We had enough food left on the table for another person to have a decent meal. Oh well..

Walked into Sentosa for the first time in my life, and boy was it quite an eye-opener. (Plus the entrance by walking is just a dollar compared to four for the tram and twenty-six for the cable car.) Anyway, soon enough we got to Underwater World Singapore by the free train and bus services once you enter the island.

Apologies for all the selfies and not much of anything else. I'll make sure I do take photographs of other stuff if I bring my camera along next time. Here's an appetizer on the bus. (Yes, srsly, on the bus?!?)

Anyway, the entrance to UWS had like freaking large sting rays for you to actually touch which was pretty cool! There were also small fish if you liked that kind of thing. (Touching fishes.. LOL) The aircon inside was also a sanctuary for both of us warm-blooded creatures.

Seriously you can just touch them!!
 I can haz pig nose!
I can haz pic w model!

So anyway, the highlight of the day was actually the dolphin and sealion show. Guess what, we actually got to touch these magnificent creatures! The sun was so damn hot though, we sweat buckets. Got to participate in the show thanks to my awesome friend, Cee-Jae. (same name as justin's mom) Clarissa-Jang. LOL! Super throw face on stage missing 2/4 hoops thrown at the sealion. Anyway, pics!

 The more cuddly version. LOL.
my polar kena gank by 2 other polars.

Also got to watch the feeding session of the polar bears. They actually fed seals to the bear who devoured them in seconds. I actually managed to catch a picture! Will send it to nat geo in the future.
Polar bear eating seal.

More random pics of the aquarium. Which was surprisingly pretty well kept and worthwhile to visit. 4/5.

Continued on to "explore" the beach and saw this opportunity. No prizes for guessing, yun immediately whips her camera out for a selfie. LOL!
The awesome day ended with a failed sunset at Sentosa (damn you clouds!) and dinner at Marche.

Such a perfect day, spent with the perfect person. This is why recess week rocks!

Time to start on my assignments. ):
