The moon was full and it hung in the night skies like an orb. Autumn was half past and the celebrations had officially begun. The wind was gentle and the leaves rustled overhead.
We strolled leisurely down the river walk, hands knotted tightly. The city lights are ablaze in the background and the water beams up the shimmering rays. We pause and look across the river, taking a short break to enjoy the moment. Our paper lanterns illuminate the faint darkness.
I see her smile. She looks so beautiful and I feel like the luckiest guy on earth. I often forget how beautiful she actually is, it felt like a dream almost. May have been the moonshine or the faint lights in the water, I think I may have fallen in love with her all over again.
